The regular fit sweat Hoodie is designed with a slightly looser silhouette so that you can fully feel the luxury of the fabric. It features  ribbed cuffs and waistband and the Brand tab on hem.

The « loop-wheel” knitting machine that is used was adopted in Japan in the early 1900’s for manufacturing western style clothing. Most of the Japanese vintage items that we find today was made by this machine. When knitting fabric using loop-wheeling machines, no extra force is applied to the yarn so it retains the softness and unique texture that you have after you wash it.

Because this machine can only knit about 1 meter of fabric an hour, most factories currently use the latest high-speed knitting machines called « sinker knitting machines » for mass production. MocT sweats however, continues to only use this high grade knitting technique at their factory in Wakayama prefecture, the only factory that is still in operation. In addition, because it uses un-dyed threads, it can be worn and washed repeatedly to give it a softer texture.

The fabric is made of Grey heather yarn, a material with a very soft texture that is widely loved by luxury brands all over the world. The secret of the soft texture, which cannot be reproduced by any type of  dyeing method, in because the cotton is dyed at raw material stage so the soft texture of cotton is maximised. 

Neon stripe is a new colour series for the mocT Japanese sweatshirt collection. The neon heather, which reproduces the frost of heather grey with neon colour threads, which looks like a grey T-shirt from a distance, but the neon colour adds outstanding nuance to the simple texture.

Made by a factory that was founded in 1887 and have taken on the challenge of developing various threads.
